Andy Bowen, Owner

Andy is a United States Coast Guard licensed captain and owner of Cohutta Fishing Company. Andy’s passion for fishing began at a very early age fishing everything from farm ponds to lakes, and rivers. Growing up in south Georgia there was abundant opportunities for largemouth and bream fishing along the Flint River. Over the past 30 years his fishing experiences has taken him to several destinations including the Virgin Islands, Mexico, Costa Rica, Florida Keys, Chile, western rivers, and the Outer Banks of North Carolina. He is a member of CCA, Trout Unlimted (Coosa Valley Chapter), Bonefish and Tarpon Unlimited, Atlanta Fly Fishing Club

Charlie Butler, Owner

Charlie is a Georgia native and a true renaissance man that grew up fishing everything from farm ponds to the coast for redfish and sea trout. Charlie hosts an annual trip to Alaska to chase down the silver run. No one loves to fish more than Charlie, and if he is not fishing he is talking about fishing. Charlie’s other passion is photography and yes his favorite subject is fly fishing. In his spare time he enjoys building custom fly rods.

Brandon Heath

Brandon is an avid fisherman and can be called without a doubt a true fishing junkie. He is a native Georgian and since he could walk has been chasing everything with scales.  From Trout, Bluegill, Bass, Striper, Redfish, Bluefish, really all fish, Brandon enjoys pursuing them all.  He is an experienced fly tier and enjoys exchanging new ideas or tips on creating the newest fly candy. Besides being knowledgeable about fishing he is very personable and is always willing to help the customer with his or her fishing questions or needs.
