Andy,

Just wanted to let you know that my buddy Jeff and I just returned from Montana this week after an awesome trip with Drew Miller (Grizzly Hackle Outfitter). We covered 45 river miles on the Bitterroot, Clark Fork, and Blackfoot Rivers. The trip was nothing less than spectacular! Although the weather was warm and we fished in shorts and t-shirts for 3 of the 4 days, the dry fly fishing was none like I had ever seen in the great state of Montana. We fished Tricos and Mohoganies for most of the first three legs of the trip and stripped streamers on the last. As always, the Grizzly Hackle provided the best guided services that one can find and many fish were caught in God's country!

Hatch 9 is easily one of the finest reels I have ever had the privilege to fish behind. Unfortunately, our shop carries strictly Orvis products, but Andy and the guys at Cohutta know their fishing and their gear as well or better than any other guys out there.

Tom, I 'm glad you made it back safe. I enjoyed fishing with you as well! Let me know when you have a chance to get back down to the south and we'll go catch'em.
Take Care,
Andy

Hi Andy!

Back in North Dakota. No snow here yet. No fish outside my office window either. Thanks again for the grand time on the Etowah with Sam. A real treat and a north Georgia highlight. Hope we can do it again some time.

Heading to a Minnesota lake this weekend. Will take my fishing boat--Native WaterCraft Ultimate 12 kayak/canoe--and see if I can find some bass. Or sunfish. The latter is more likely.

Will send some photos of Sam in Montana for your website. I think I even have some of him with fish.

Cheers and best wishes for the shop, Tom Steen
